Random Thoughts from Today

So here are my thoughts from today in no necessary order:

Integrity is still for sale, I saw the sign this afternoon.

Computers make an excellent paperweight.  Especially when your boss doesn’t know the password so that you can use them.

Scrubs is a great show that has great songs on it.  I think I will buy the seasons.

The Office is a funny show, while it does not have the great songs, I think I will buy the seasons.

Some people just don’t care.

Figuring out how much it cost to open a business in Missouri is not easy.

I often wish that things were easier.

I do not see the need to have to go to multiple interviews for one job.  I appreciate that you enjoy seeing me but gas isn’t cheap.

It seems to rain a lot more when you live in the midwest.

I wish starbucks was a lot cheaper.

Your Hook is Free Internet

So the other evening I was watching TV when an ad for a hotel comes on. I want to say that it was the Courtyard or something similar. Anywho, at the end of the commercial it ends with “Free Internet, it’s the best part.” Now to some people they may think, “Hey I can stay there and have free internet, it’ll be great”. On the other hand, there are those people like me that thought, “Is free internet really the best part of your hotel.” No offense to any hotel but if the best experience I have there is going to be the internet then maybe, just maybe you aren’t the place for me. In the hi-tech days of wifi at every Mcdonalds and pub I think I’ll survive without internet in my room. Once again I just find it odd that this would be their marketing ploy. Who sat in the room and said, “Hey guys, let’s be honest, the only thing we really have going for us right now if internet, let’s focus on that.” If there was a guy that said that, why does he still work there? I’m sure that they have a lot better things than just the internet. Who knows, maybe their beds are comfy, or they have great room service.

Just a thought.
