So today I went to get a haircut at Sportsclips. I went there because the last few I have been too, in Fl and SC, weren’t too bad. But I now have some observations and recommendations for the company.
1. You attempt to target guys buy playing sports on the tv’s near the chair. Please do not attempt to talk to me while I am watching. Pleasantries are ok but, if your main schtick to get me in there is sports don’t ruin it for me by asking how my job is going, so on and so forth.
2. Hire hairdressers that know something about rule 1. If by some chance the stylist cannot follow rule #1 please require them to have some idea of what is going on. My lovely hairdresser this afternoon did not know who the mascot of North Carolina is.
3. Require them to pay some attention to the tv’s located within the facility. Maybe set aside 30 mins a day or so, so that they can see what ESPN plays that way they’ll be in the know. This is brought on by the stylists asking me if Mel Kiper was a real person or computer generated for the show.
Sportsclips, if your moto is going to be “At Sportsclips, Guys Win” then please make me feel like a winner. I’m not asking for over night change but please help me out.
