Song stuck in my head

So for the past few days I have had this song stuck in my head.  It is Coral – Dreaming of You.  They are a pretty good band that I invite you to check out.  I actually hadn’t heard them in a while and then I was watching an episode of Scrubs and it played at the end.

Book Sale and Memories

The Springfield Public Library is having a book sale this week. I went this afternoon and took a browse and saw somethings that reminded me of the 90’s.

The first item that I saw was the Rainbow Study Bible. I remember when this was all the rage. Everyone in the church would know what one particular passage had to do with. I wish I remembered the color scheme and all that they stood for. I remember I used to flip through my parents and try to find pages that had the fewest amount of colors.

I also saw a book about Promise Keepers.

I also remember when this was all the rage. The men would go out of town for a few days to a conference. I don’t remember that much about it but I remember that every church I went to or visited made mention of it atleast once a sermon.

Those are my only thoughts from the book sale. Except that they have books really cheap. I bought 7 or 8 today for around 10 bucks. Not bad. Saturday is Half Price day. I don’t expect much of a selection but hey, half price.

Humor From Work

Here are a few humorous photos that I have taken at work the last week or so.

Lock KeysLock on Computer

These two photos show the true intelligence of my bosses at work. We got laptops to help us out with filling out paperwork. They also gave us those locks that lock into the side of the computer so that no one can steal them. Notice that the photos show the keys and laptop. What I could not capture is the proximity of these two items together. You would think that the keys would be kept someplace safe. But no, no, the keys are kept no more that 2 feet from the laptop, held right above them with a push pin. Maybe they are under the impression that only stupid people would break in and not figure out the situation. (No, I will not tell you where I work so that you can cash in)

Help Me

While I do not work directly for the person that owns this fine specimen I do work right across from his office where the Buck and his body that is on the adjacent wall stare at me all day. I have never worked for a company that said, “Hey Bob, you know what would really spruce up your office? A couple of buck heads.” But, alas they are there. Staring at me with their cold eyes. We sometimes pretend they carry on conversations with each other. (Not pictured but receiving honorable mention are; another buck head, a collection of hats, a winston poster, and a camo table)

Check me out

This final stunning image comes courtesy of “Bob” who is from corporate. When he is down he has this lovely studded cell phone holder. Feel free to pick one up at your local Wal-Mart or studded buying place.

All in all it is very interesting at work.

Sprint Customer Service

As a former employee and the ordeals this evening I can honestly say they have horrible customer service.
