Walmart and me

Here I sit at walmart waiting on the oil to get changed. I’m sitting in the waiting room with an array of different people. Across from me you have a guy that is trying to keep a conversation with the room by making, but what he may seem, are funny remarks about the size of the room. There is also a couple who I assume are married. They look to be no older than 17 but I must be wrong. They are talking about living at his parents house. Interesting. And then there is the lady who is trying to block us all out by staring at the tv which is blasting Air Force One, the classic with Harrison Ford. I actually came here to buy groceries but remembered an oil change is long past due. So here I sit. I could be picking out groceries but I am afraid that I wouldn’t be able to bring them back here,or worse the wait would be longer and all the frozen items would melt. So here I sit. Exciting I know.

Starbucks and life.

As I sit here in front of Starbucks, drinking my mocha frap and waiting on Lindsay and Hailey I have decided to posts. Sitting here seeing the large line and packed store makes me wonder when Starbucks became such a pop culture icon. Now don’t get me wrong I love Starbucks as much as the next guy amd may be slightly addicted to they delicious coffee but whatever happened to the Mom and Pop coffee houses? They seem to have all but disappeared except for in towns where you can’t find a Starbucks. I for one believe that they are getting to big for their britches as my Grandma would have said. whenever you get to the point where you are buiding one across the street from each other, or, even in the same parking lot, as can be seen in Winter Park then I have to believe that it is safe to say that there are a few too many out there in the world.
